Leaving No-One Behind the MW2063 Agenda

MEJN advocates for inclusivity, leaving no one behind in the implementation of national policies considering that Religious Values is one key aspect to drive mindset change; one of the enablers in the MW2063 Agenda

Additionally, financing of social protection programs with loans amidst the high debt levels; improper coordination among social protection financiers which propels double beneficiaries and lack of proper mechanisms to graduate beneficiaries on social protection programs like Affordable Input Program (AIP) social cash transfer are key challenges that call for a re-look.

The need to involve faith leaders as key stakeholders in social protection drive, can not be overemphasized.

With Funding from Norwegian Church Aid Malawi and DanChurchAid A national policy advocacy workshop was held on 07th and 08th /07/2022 in Lilongwe with the faith leaders deliberating government’s commitments, challenges and potential opportunities.
